Serving the North Texas Catholic community by providing the faithful opportunities to grow in Christian discipleship and strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Discalced Carmelite Friars are sons of St. Teresa of Jesus and St. John of the Cross, in total consecration to Mother Mary. We are mendicant friars, living the active, contemplative calling, with two hours of mental prayer daily, and apostolates including retreats, spiritual direction, preaching, evangelization, parish ministry, and a mission in Uganda. Whatever we do is to be imbued with our charism of prayer – seeking deep union with our Lord Jesus and forming others in the spiritual life, especially through the teaching of our holy doctors.

The St. Paul Center is a nonprofit research and educational institute that promotes life-transforming Scripture study from the heart of the Church. The Center serves clergy and laity, students and scholars. Our goal is to be a teacher of teachers. We want to raise up a new generation of priests who are fluent in the Bible. It means equipping them to enter the heart of the living Word of God and to be transformed and renewed by this encounter. We read the Bible from the heart of the Church, in light of the Church’s Liturgy and living Tradition.

We are University of St. Thomas, the Catholic university in the heart of Houston. We are committed to the Catholic intellectual tradition and the dialogue between faith and reason. By pursuing excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service, we embody and instill in our students the core values of our founders, the Basilian Fathers: goodness, discipline and knowledge. We foster engagement in a diverse, collaborative community.

Our mission is to quench Jesus’ thirst. We accompany the homeless, the elderly, and the marginalized in the spirit of Mother Teresa. We help Catholics live out their faith by offering service opportunities to encounter Christ in the poorest of the poor. Our missionaries engage parishes and schools to love the poor, the sick, the suffering, and the lonely in their own cities. In 6 years, we have walked with over 10,000 people in the DFW area through volunteering, summer camps, summer internships, and international mission trips.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul

The Society is one of the largest lay Catholic organizations in the world, with about a million members and volunteers committed to bringing compassion and hope to those in need in 155 countries. Almost one hundred years after its founding, St. Pier Giorgio Frassati at the age of 17 joined the Society to grow spiritually by seeing the face of Christ in the poor he served.

Missionaries of the Holy Spirit

“Our spirit and our mission require a particular way of life, a lifestyle to live our consecration to God and do our mission in the Church. Our founder summed it up by saying, “We must be first of all contemplative and then men of action.”
As religious, we follow Jesus Christ, our merciful Priest and Victim. This requires the total surrender of ourselves to God through the profession of the evangelical counsels of chastity, poverty, and obedience. It also requires us to work with Jesus Christ in building the Kingdom of God here today.”

We share our time and treasure with those who need help and hope. We believe EVERYONE deserves a fair chance at a bright future, regardless of income or life circumstances.

Trinity Woods Catholic Retreat Center

Join the Mission

Trinity Woods is a Catholic retreat center set on 700 acres of breathtaking Wisconsin forest and lakes—home of Extreme Faith Camp and serves Minnesota and Wisconsin. Each summer, thousands of youth encounter Christ through high adventure, small groups, powerful talks, and Eucharistic Adoration.

Be a Summer Missionary

We’re seeking 40 passionate Catholic college students and young adults ready to give a summer to Christ in prayer, community, and joyful service.  As a missionary at Trinity Woods, you’ll help lead campers in adventure activities—like the zipline, waterfront, rock wall, archery tag, laser tag, and canoe trips—and work behind the scenes in hospitality.  In return, you’ll grow deeply in your own faith through daily team prayer, Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, formation talks, small groups, and a life-giving community of other young adults.

Year-Round Missionary Program

For those discerning a year of service and mission, Trinity Woods also offers a year-round missionary program that includes housing, meals, and a stipend.  These young adult missionaries live on site and serve through retreats, faith and science programs, outdoor adventure ministry, and hospitality for guests. They also help lead our Trinity Team over the summer. It’s a life of mission, community, and prayer — an opportunity to grow in holiness and leadership while helping others encounter Christ.
Find your True North at Trinity Woods.

Christ in the City

We Form Catholic Missionaries

Our young adult missionaries live in a common house, sharing a life of prayer, service, simplicity, and accountability. Drawing from that as their foundation, they are able to go out and bring the love of Christ to the homeless in the streets.

We Walk With the Homeless

Missionaries walk the same street routes, Monday thru Friday, building friendships with the homeless. Our sole purpose is to bring love where there is no love, to bring relationship where it does not exist. And in doing so, we are re-cultivating a foundation in someone to have hope, walking with our homeless friends toward healing and re-integration into society.

JMJ Youth Pilgrimages is a spirited Catholic youth pilgrimage organization with over 30 years of experience. This includes 12 World Youth Days and innumerable group pilgrimages to holy sites all over the globe. We share a common mission with youth and young adult ministers around the world: to evangelize, catechize, and change lives. We create opportunities for young people to open their hearts to the Grace of God on pilgrimage. Join us on a holy adventure in pursuit of all that is good, true, and beautiful!

Follow My Camino

We guide Catholics on the Camino de Santiago, offering a personalized spiritual journey that includes prayer, Mass, and a transformative experience, deepening their faith along this sacred path. Through reflection, community, and devotion, pilgrims are immersed in the rich spiritual heritage of the Camino, fostering a deeper connection to God and the Catholic tradition while embarking on a life-changing pilgrimage.

“Camp Wojtyla (pronounced voy-tee-wa) is a Catholic Adventure summer program located on 1,200 pristine acres of wilderness in the heart of the Colorado Rockies where we lead and challenge young people through adventures in the wilderness into a joyful and transformative relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. Named after Saint Pope John Paul II, who loved to minister to young people in the outdoors,  We believe that adventure experiences can be one of the most powerful tools for self-discovery and personal and spiritual growth. Climbing up a 13,000 foot mountain, our students learn perseverance, teamwork and experience first hand God’s glorious creation amidst breathtaking views.

Everything at Camp Wojtyla is intentionally designed to bring out the best in each camper — and bring each person into a closer relationship with God. We believe that this then empowers each camper to grow in their relationships with others (known as interpersonal skills, being a “person for others”), within themselves (interpersonal awareness, growing in virtue) and with the created world. Here, we sleep in Teepees, not cabins, as a Teepee allows one to hear the sounds of nature and view amazing starry nights.  Each day has a variety of adventure activities designed to challenge, empower and encourage each student to be the man or woman of God that he or she was created to be.”
