About
Mark Bartek finds himself a little jealous of Mary Magdalene. After all, she got canonized with the title “Disciple of Jesus.” That’s the legacy Mark is shooting for: to be remembered forever as a disciple of Jesus Christ. To get there, he started by finding the best woman he could (mission accomplished), and then—just to prove his commitment—he and his wife Angie outnumbered a minivan with eight incredible kids. Yes, eight. Mark serves as the founding leader of the Mobilization of Benefactors initiative at FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students). Translation? He helps turn generous Catholics into fired-up disciples on mission. Before that, he led Mission Partner Development nationwide, training thousands of staff to fundraise like saints and helping bring tens of thousands of new benefactors into the mission. He’s a national speaker, leadership coach, and servant leadership nerd. He’s also a proud member of the Michelle Duppong Guild, helping advance her cause for sainthood—though he knows she’s probably already praying for his conversion.
