SEEK23 Seminarian Experience

Called to Witness

This January, thousands of people—including your brother seminarians, fellow religious and future members of the parishes you will someday lead—will gather in St. Louis to encounter the Gospel anew and answer the call to discipleship as they never have before.

We hope that you, as a seminarian, will also join us!

You may have heard about SEEK before. This annual event, presented by FOCUS, is an opportunity for attendees to participate in the sacraments, witness God’s mercy, spend time in community, and be inspired and equipped with the mission skills needed to make Christ known to others, wherever they are.

At SEEK23, you’ll be inspired, too! Be renewed in your own calling to serve as the hands and feet of Christ—and at the same time, be a present-day witness of the courage, beauty, and joy of religious life to college-aged souls. The Seminarian Experience at SEEK23 will include special talks, get-togethers and more — specifically for you and your fellow seminarians.

“FOCUS conferences offer amazing opportunities for men and women to respond to their vocations. Whenever there is a conference, we see an influx of men entering the seminary for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. SEEK2019 was the catalyst for three men to enter our seminary and helped others begin their discernment. I think every vocation director should attend a FOCUS conference, and every diocese’s strategic plan for vocations should include getting as many college students to conference as possible.”
