The mission of FOCUS is to fulfill the Great Commission, to make disciples of all nations—and every year, SEEK brings together thousands of college-aged attendees for an authentic, life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ and His Church.
As an event centered on the heart of the Gospel, SEEK23 will offer plenty of opportunities for prayer, adoration and the sacraments. Throughout this five-day event, there will also be convicting Catholic speakers, opportunities for discussion and fellowship, special guests and entertainment, and more.
This event lets young people from all backgrounds encounter the truth, hope, and joy of the Catholic Church in a way they’ve never before experienced. It is also a fantastic opportunity for Catholic campus communities to recommit to their relationship with Christ and be inspired anew for the courageous journey of missionary discipleship.
For students who are just finding their faith, SEEK is a chance to encounter Jesus Christ in word and sacrament, to explore the one, holy, Catholic, and apostolic Church, and to take advantage of countless opportunities to discover what a lifelong relationship with Jesus could look like for them.
For those students who are Catholic and/or are already involved in your campus community, being able to join such a large group of peers and celebrate their faith alongside them helps them see they are not alone. This event often inspires students to commit further to deepening their prayer life and also encourages them to reach out to others upon their return to campus, inviting their friends to events like Bible studies, Mass or social events at the Catholic center.
Just as the Christian life is meant to be lived in community, SEEK is meant to be experienced with others among the greater Body of Christ.
