SEEK21 will be a live broadcast experience, bringing SEEK to you wherever you are! However, unlike a virtual conference, SEEK21 is designed to be experienced in a group setting. Click here to learn how you can build a small group to participate in SEEK21 together. If you are on a FOCUS campus, click here to learn how to participate with your campus community.

The best way to find a small group in your area is to gather your friends and family to participate in SEEK21 together! In this season of social distancing, we desire answers to life’s deeper questions more than ever. We encourage you to be bold and invite your neighbors, colleagues, classmates, and fellow parishioners into this experience with you.

A

FOCUS has found that the optimal small group size is between 7 – 10 people to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable. The small group leader will manage the list of participants for the group. All small groups should follow the local COVID regulations in your area.

A

Please follow all local regulations and guidelines in place when you attend SEEK21. Many jurisdictions will have social distancing and mask requirements in place for public gathering locations, and our group leaders are asked to follow these directives. Even if there are not specific regulations in place in your area, we recommend following current CDC guidelines.

Please note that everyone participating in our event agrees to the following terms:

  • I understand that COVID-19 is contagious and primarily spreads from person-to-person contact.
  • I understand that attending SEEK21 in any location may increase my risk of contracting COVID-19. I understand that following local COVID-19 regulations and guidance in my area is the primary way to mitigate this risk.
  • I fully and voluntarily assume the risks associated with attending SEEK21 for myself and any group members that participate in my location.
  • I hereby release, indemnify, and covenant not to sue FOCUS and its directors, officers, employees, agents, and volunteers for any loss, damage, or injury that is in any way related to my attending SEEK21. The foregoing sentence shall apply to all claims involving the released parties’ negligence but not to willful and wanton, reckless, or grossly negligent acts or omissions.
  • I agree that if any provision of this release is determined to be invalid for any reason, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of any other provision.
  • I understand and agree that this release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted under applicable law

Yes! Mission Way is a key hallmark element of our event, providing the opportunity to interact with hundreds of organizations engaged in the Catholic mission of evangelization. While Mission Way will feel different than the in-person booths you are used to, the opportunity for interaction remains the same. Through the SEEK portal you’ll be able to chat with individual sponsors and get to know all about our wonderful partners of SEEK21! Click here if you are interested in becoming a sponsor.

Absolutely! Our schedule has been designed to accommodate a working schedule, but if your particular schedule doesn’t align with SEEK21, all live sessions can be viewed again later. We hope you can catch up and join us live the following day!

A

SEEK21 programming builds upon itself each day. While it is recommended that you attend each day to grow linearly, we understand that life can sometimes throw a curveball. All SEEK21 sessions will be available within the secure SEEK21 portal for viewing outside of the live hours. We encourage you to catch up on the content you missed, either before the next day of SEEK21 or when possible after SEEK21 has concluded.

A

We HIGHLY encourage small group leaders to coordinate with your local parish so that your small group can receive the sacraments during SEEK21. There will be time provided in the schedule for prayer and sacraments. Mass and adoration will be broadcasted online, but nothing is greater than participating in the sacraments in person.

SEEK21 is best experienced in the small group setting where great discussion and camaraderie can be built. However, you may experience SEEK21 from the comfort and safety of your own home, if that is what you desire. Please see our selection of attendance options and choose the option that is the best for you.

A

Each SEEK21 participant is required to register and access to the event platform cannot be shared. Each individual registrant will receive access to create a profile, allowing them to experience all the elements that make SEEK, SEEK- including live and on-demand sessions, access to Mission Way, our live engagement hubs, and other exclusive content. When registering a group, you will be given the opportunity to enter the information for each participant. We’re putting in protections behind the scenes to prevent account-sharing, which may disrupt your experience if you send your log-in credentials to someone else.

A

For the full SEEK21 experience, each person will need to purchase an Event Pass individually or register as a group. This provides access to the community online, specific resources for your conference experience, and access to materials after the event has concluded.

A

We’re proud to offer all of our content to each person who registers for SEEK21. Our content builds on itself linearly each day. You will have on-demand access to any keynotes, impact sessions, and sponsor breakouts that you miss live. For this reason, we only offer packages that span the duration of SEEK21.

A

Click here to view our cancellation policy. As with our in-person conferences, no-shows are not eligible for a refund and we are not able to refund registration fees if your internet doesn’t work. We encourage you to check your internet capabilities prior to SEEK21.

We understand that local regulations can change at any time, and we certainly want you to follow those regulations set forth in your area. With this in mind, we are providing the capability for all SEEK21 attendees to participate from both small group locations and from individual homes. If you cannot attend your small group in-person for any reason, please log in to our secure SEEK21 portal to view all of the live content. In this case, we recommend that your small group connect with each other over video conferencing during scheduled small group times!

A

If you need to travel or stay overnight at your SEEK21 small group location, you are responsible for coordinating these elements. Your group leader may have a few recommendations in mind, but ultimately please use your best judgement when choosing your accommodations.
